Important Note: Please provide all projects in the format of a paper including summary of methodology, description of the results, discussion of the methodology in light of the obtained results, and -if applicable- a conclusion. The deadline for submitting all projects is now Tuesday April 29, 2008. You have to submit your projects on a CD with your name on it - No e-mail submissions will be accepted.

 

Final Exam Guidelines

1. Design problems: a practical DSP system is described to you and you are asked to suggest a solution to a design requirement in this. Be brief and to the point and avoid unclear answers.

2. True/False Statements:  You are given a statement where you are asked to decide whether it is true of false and why. Providing answer without explanation will get a zero grade. Providing an answer with an incorrect answer gets a negative grade. So, be careful not to answer questions you know nothing about.

3. Regular problems based on the problem sets assigned to you.

4. Exam will be long but will have about a 20% over points. You should pick the questions with the largest point grades to answer to collect as many points as you can in the allowed time.
